Your OWN "Baseball" Card w/ Publisher
Your card needs to have a front and back. The size is 2 inches by 3 inches.
The information on the back of the card should be a mini timeline of your life so far. These are your "stats".

In a class you conducted a survey using 3 questions. Please create an Excel worksheet displaying your results. Please create a chart to show your outcome.

Weight & Age on Different Planets
Calculate your weight and age on other planets in our solar system.
Open a new Excel spreadsheet. You will be using 2 worksheets: 1 for weight on each planet and 2 for your age.
To figure out your weight, use the equation in Excel. Don't forget to ask me to show a quick shortcut once you have created the equations once :)
To figure out your age, click here to get some help with that. The last paragraph will be a big help. However, I am not going to do it for you... think about it and complete the request.

Weight On Other Planets
Use Excel to create a spreadsheet to find your new weight on different planets in our solar system.
Go online to find the gravity on each planet. Using a website, find out how to calculate your weight on all other planets.
You will need: your weight, the gravity on all the planets and the equation for calculating you new weight.

This Training PowerPoint is designed to stand-alone. All your information should be included on your 7+ slides.

PowerPoint Introduction
Create a PP on your favorite book, movie, TV show or band. (Use the rubric below as a guide). Create 5 slides of information. Include graphics that support your topic.
You will be presenting your PP to the class.
Cite the websites you used on the actual slide that has the information. Use 10 pt. font along the very bottom of the slide.
Word Cumulative Assessment
We are done with Word, about time, right? :) However, before we move on to PowerPoint, you must show what you know about Word as of now.
Complete the completed list of requirements using information about a person in history. Use the internet to gather the information needed to complete the list.
Good Luck and NO, you cannot ask the teacher for help. Use the Help menu if you don’t remember how to do something. All of these requirements have been covered at some point in class by others or myself.

Video Conversion Site - Zamzar
For your 7 slide training PowerPoint, either video or music is needed. To download a video for your PP, use the site above to convert it. Save it as a .WMV file. This process will take a bit of time and you will need your lhshounds email account.
